From first code to AI: the learning path
Most children start with Scratch and move on to Python. From there they build websites, apps, games or AI. After the free class the tutor places your child on the path, so nobody repeats what they already know.
- Grades 2–8
Start with blocks
Scratch teaches loops, conditions and variables with drag-and-drop blocks, through games, animations and stories.
- Grades 3–12
Move to real code
Python reads close to plain English and grows with your child, from first programs to data and automation.
- Grades 1–12
Build what they love
Websites with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, mobile apps with React Native and Flutter, or 2D and 3D games with Unity.
- Grades 6–12
Build with AI
Data analysis and visualisation, then machine learning and AI models of their own, in Python.

Questions parents ask
What ages and grades do you teach?
Grades 1–12, about ages 5 to 17. Each course lists its grade range in the grade finder above.
Open the grade finderMy child has never coded. Is that OK?
Yes, no experience is needed. In the free class, the tutor checks your child's level and recommends a course to start with.
What is the best age to start coding?
Most children can start at 5 to 7 with visual, block-based coding such as Scratch, which needs little reading or typing. There is no upper limit: children who start at 10 or 14 progress quickly. Interest matters more than age, and the free class shows where your child should start.
Should my child learn Scratch or Python first?
Usually Scratch first, then Python. Scratch's drag-and-drop blocks teach loops, conditions and variables without typing errors, and those ideas carry straight over to Python. Older or very motivated beginners, around 11 and up, can start directly with Python.
See the Python courseIs coding still worth learning now that AI can write code?
Yes. Coding builds the problem-solving that lets children judge, fix and safely use code an AI writes, and it is the way into building AI themselves. Codinzy teaches both: coding from Scratch to Python, and AI in the Data Science & AI course.
AI classes for kidsWhat does my child need for online classes?
A laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and microphone, and a stable internet connection. A phone screen is too small for coding. The tools run in the browser, and the tutor helps set everything up in the first class.
How do live classes work?
Every class is taught live by a real tutor, never pre-recorded. Choose private 1-on-1 classes (45 minutes, 2–3 a week) or a small group of 2–4 students (60 minutes, 2 a week). Classes are online, so families join from anywhere, scheduled in your timezone, and students can rewatch class recordings.
Is the free trial class really free? What happens in it?
Yes. It's 100% free and you don't enter payment details. It's a real live lesson with a teacher, who assesses your child's level and recommends a course. You decide afterwards whether to continue.
Will my child have the same tutor?
Yes. Your child keeps the same tutor every lesson.
Can we reschedule a class?
It depends on the plan. Prime (1-on-1) has unlimited rescheduling. Premier groups reschedule by agreement with the group. Plus has no rescheduling.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
You pay per class, and the price depends on your country, the group size and the plan (Plus, Premier or Prime); the plans section shows each plan's lowest price, and your exact price is on your payment page. You pay only for the classes your child takes. Pay by card through Stripe, bKash or Bangla QR.
What is your refund policy?
Pay only for the classes your child takes. If no live class has been completed, you get a 100% refund. After that, refunds are pro-rata.
Read the refund policyDo students get certificates?
Yes. Codinzy is accredited by STEM.org. The certificates are Young Scratch Developer, Python Programmer, Web Developer and Code Oracle, each a downloadable PDF and a shareable digital badge.
How will I know my child is making progress?
Parents get AI-generated PDF progress reports and a dashboard, and students can rewatch their class recordings.
